Main Event – Augusta Premiere – In My Blood It Runs

A film by leading Indigenous filmmaker Maya Newell premiering her observational documentary In My Blood it Runs, told from the perspective of a 10-year-old Aboriginal boy in Alice Springs, struggling to balance his traditional Arrernte/Garrwa upbringing with a State education.
Drinks and a spread of tasty treats will be served with a guest Q&A session following the screening led by local film buff Paul Sofilas.
